Hiring a Canal Boat for the First Time
Never been on a canal boat before? If this is you then our canal boats for hire are ideal for that getaway break. However, if the general thought of being left in charge of a canal boat is all a bit too scary then rest assured and breathe.
Our friendly team will guide you every step of the way through training and won’t let you lose until you are 100% happy and confident with operating the boat and we will even take you and instruct you through your first 6 locks so that you can continue on your canal boat holiday knowing you can operate them along the way too!
For those first timers just like yourself who are thinking about going on a canal boat holiday and haven’t been before then it can be hard to imagine exactly what it will be like. Many first timers are often surprised by just how much fun they had whilst being able to take time out and relax. They come back having caught the boating bug and cannot wait to book again!
You can cruise during the day and stop off at various locations and we can advise you and recommend places well worth a visit. When your done exploring you simply moor up for the night, settle down all snug and cosy and listen to the gentle lapping of the water against the boat as it slowly sends you off to sleep.
