MV Romance is the ideal setting for a leisurely lunch boat cruise or dinner boat cruise along the picturesque Leeds Liverpool Canal in the heart of the Lancashire countryside.

Dinner on a Boat

The 3 hour Lunch or Dinner Cruise will take you from our base at Riley Green Marina, through Withnell Fold Nature Reserve, past the old Withnell Fold paper mill, on through delightful countryside set against the stunning backdrop of the famous Hoghton Tower where James I Knighted the loin of beef Sirloin.

Then onto the lovely hamlet of Wheelton and Johnson Hillocks where we descend and ascend two locks before we commence the return journey.

Sit back andrelax, really have the chance to unwind whilst you have dinner on a boat a delicious three course meal prepared and cooked freshly for you in our kitchen by our chef.

At night watch how our floodlights illuminate the fascinating canal side, making it look ever so magical!

The Canal Boat Restaurant has a fully licensed bar and extensive wine list, the bar is open prior to, as well as throughout the entire cruise and if thats not enough it will even be openafter the cruise too!

Romance is fully enclosed, with central heating for winter on our cruising restaurant, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere.

Take in the wonderful countryside untouched and see the birds and animals that make their homes along the Leeds Liverpool Canal.
