Our beautiful Lancashire is becoming famous for our many fine flavours concerning food. Particulary the North West of Lancashire has got a name for itself as being the undisputed food capital of Great Britain.  We have some of the best farmland in the country and a vast array of producers.  No other region offers such a great selection of tantalising tastes guarenteed to please the mouth palette of even the fussiest of eaters! 

At Canal Boat Cruises we are all great believers in knowing the provenance of the food we serve, which means sourcing food on our doorstep. Yes, you heard correctly!  We only use the best local suppliers and producers and this is shown by a firm favourite which is on our menu, Frank Pooley's award wining Spout House Farm beef! Got your mouth watering slightly? It goes on, who could possibly resist our locally made butter from Billy Butter’s Farm or Lesley's Homemade Yorkshire Puddings?
