Tom Rolt the man who saved our canals

This Thursday 11th February marks the centenary of the birth of Tom Rolt author of the book Narrowboat.  In 1944 Tom published his book Narrowboat which brought attention to life afloat on the British canals and rivers.  Tom also became founder of the IWA.
